| This page will help you better understand your
insurance coverage on your auto policy. Please give us a call if you have any
questions or concerns regarding any aspect of this form. Q. Is my vehicle covered if I am at fault for an accident?
A. Your vehicle is covered if you carry
collision coverage. You are subject to a deductible when at fault.
Q. What if a rock breaks my windshield?
A. If you carry comprehensive, which is fire,
theft and glass coverage, unless otherwise specified, there is no deductible on glass
replacement. Simply call our office and we will advise the proper procedure for the
replacement.
Q. What are my billing options?
A. All companies have direct bill, a 10 month
pay plan with 20% as your first bill. Service fees have been implemented with most
companies. To avoid these charges Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is available with
most companies.
Q. Will I be able to rent a vehicle if mine is in an
accident?
A. If you carry rental coverage, either
$15/day or $30/day, you will be able to have a vehicle during the repair time of your own
vehicle. A towing option is also available. The limits are $25/disablement and
$50/disablement.
Q. Will I be able to rent a vehicle if mine needs
scheduled maintenance or repairs?
A. Unfortunately insurance rental coverage
only applies when an accident has occurred.
Q. Do I have enough liability to protect my assets?
A. If you own a home or have assets that
should be protected you may want to consider higher liability than the state minimum
(20,000 per person; 40,000 per accident). We recommend a liability of 100,000 per
person; 300,000 per accident if you are a homeowner.
Q. Did I forget to tell you my loan is paid off?
A. If you have paid off your vehicle please
call and let us know. If a claim is filed and a check is issued the leinholders name
will be on the check and they will need to endorse it as well as the owner of the vehicle.
